Applications and route planning
Vacuum sewage trucks collect material from drainage and wastewater maintenance points for transport to an authorised receiving facility. This Dongfeng reference uses a 5 m³ tank, vacuum equipment and a rear-opening tipping arrangement. Its role differs from a combined sewer jetter: the listed configuration centres on collection rather than a separately specified high-pressure cleaning system.
Understanding the technical specification
Tank volume alone does not define pumping performance. Suction depth, hose length, material characteristics and pump condition affect the collection cycle. The source mass table does not consistently account for crew, so its rated payload is excluded. Request a current whole-vehicle mass schedule and the pump operating data for the actual build.
Configuration and quotation checklist
Describe the material, likely solids, access points, hose requirements and unloading facility. Confirm tank protection, shut-off arrangements and rear-cover sealing with the manufacturer. Establish whether a separate jetting system is required instead of assuming it is included with the vacuum truck.
Maintenance, inspection and handover
Request service instructions for the vacuum pump, moisture separator, valves and rear-door seals. Agree the first maintenance kit and operator handover. Cleaning, tank access and waste-handling procedures should follow the supplier’s documentation and the receiving facility’s requirements.
Ordering for your destination
Send your destination country, preferred chassis support network and required delivery location with the vehicle brief. Ask for a dated quotation that separates the chassis, specialist body, equipment, inspection, spare parts and freight. Confirm the deposit, production milestones and shipment documents in the contract. Transit time and import costs depend on the agreed route and destination; they are not fixed by this reference guide.
Reference scope
The figures describe the published reference, not every configuration. Final chassis, body equipment, permitted payload, destination requirements, delivery schedule and price are confirmed in a written quotation.
