Choosing & customising your truck
What does SUI AUTO do?
SUI AUTO — 专用车之家 — is a multi-manufacturer vehicle sourcing and sales-service platform. We help overseas buyers compare special-purpose trucks, coordinate custom builds and inspections, plan delivery and consolidate spare-parts requests. The manufacturer, contracting seller and service scope are identified in each written offer.
Are you a manufacturer or a sourcing platform?
We are a sourcing and service platform. Our catalogue includes vehicles from Chengli / CLW, Hongyu, Kaili and Xindongri. Manufacturing is performed by the supplying factory; we coordinate the purchase around your requirements. A catalogue listing does not imply exclusive representation or destination approval.
What information do you need to recommend a vehicle?
Send the intended task, destination country, quantity, required capacity, operating terrain, driving side and target delivery date. Add requirements for the chassis, engine, emissions, body, power supply and equipment. Existing vehicle model numbers or a tender specification help us prepare a comparable shortlist.
Can I customise the chassis, body, equipment and colour?
Yes, customisation requests can cover chassis selection, body layout, working equipment, paint and branding. The manufacturer must review technical compatibility and destination requirements. Agree the final specification, drawings where needed, cost and lead time before production.
Does the configurator represent the exact vehicle I will receive?
It is a planning tool with three fixed tanker concept views and a cab-colour preview. Chassis and accessory choices affect the brief and illustrative estimate, but are not all shown in the image. Other vehicle types need a separate specification enquiry. Your signed specification determines the supplied vehicle.
Can you supply one vehicle or a mixed fleet?
Send the quantity and vehicle types you need, including a single-truck enquiry or a mixed fleet. Availability, minimum quantities for particular equipment and opportunities to combine procurement are reviewed with the relevant manufacturers.
Quotation, deposit & payment
Is the online estimate the final price?
No. Configurator values are illustrative. Request an itemised written offer for the exact vehicle, optional equipment, spare parts, inspection, transport and documents. Check the currency, quote expiry date and all exclusions before comparing offers.
How much deposit is required?
There is no single deposit percentage for every vehicle. The amount depends on the manufacturer, chassis availability and custom work. Your contract should state the deposit, payment milestones, balance due date and the conditions for starting production. Confirm these before transferring funds.
Which payment methods are available?
Ask for the methods accepted for your specific order and any bank or currency charges. Payment instructions must identify the contracting seller and beneficiary. Independently confirm any request to change bank details through an established contact before paying; this website does not collect payments.
Can I change or cancel an order after paying a deposit?
Ask for a written change or cancellation review immediately. Purchased chassis, completed work and custom components may affect the amount recoverable and the delivery schedule. Refunds, deductions and changes follow the agreed contract; a deposit is not described here as universally refundable or non-refundable.
What should the quotation say about shipping terms?
Specify the agreed Incoterms® rule, its edition and a named port or place. Ask who arranges and pays for each transport stage, insurance, clearance and destination charges, and where risk transfers. Terms such as FOB, CIF or DAP are not interchangeable with a guaranteed all-inclusive delivered price.
Production, quality & inspection
Are the listed vehicles in stock?
A listing is a model reference, not a stock confirmation. Ask for current availability of the exact chassis and body specification. Stock vehicles and custom production can have different inspection and dispatch arrangements.
How long does production take?
A build schedule is provided after the chassis, body design and equipment are confirmed. Chassis availability, specialist components, drawing approval and changes can affect timing. The order should distinguish production completion, inspection, port delivery and vessel departure.
How is vehicle quality checked before shipment?
Agree a model-specific acceptance checklist covering identification, dimensions, equipment, body workmanship and functional demonstrations. Request dated photographs, operating videos and the agreed inspection records. Any independent inspector, factory visit, additional tests and related charges should be arranged before dispatch.
Can I receive production updates or visit the factory?
Request milestone photographs, a live video review or a factory visit when discussing the order. The supplying manufacturer must confirm site access, timing and the scope of information available. We can coordinate the request with the responsible supplier.
Shipping, costs & customs
How are special-purpose trucks shipped overseas?
The route may use roll-on/roll-off, container, flat-rack or other suitable cargo services. The choice depends on vehicle dimensions, weight, port facilities and carrier acceptance. Agree preparation, securing, any dismantling and the receiving arrangements before booking.
How long does sea freight take?
Transit time is route-specific. Provide the destination port to request a current sailing estimate, including whether the service is direct or uses transshipment. Production, port waiting, customs clearance and inland delivery are separate stages. Vessel schedules and arrival estimates can change.
What affects shipping costs?
Vehicle dimensions and weight, the shipping method, departure and arrival ports, sailing date, surcharges and insurance all affect the quote. Ask for its validity period and whether inland haulage, terminal handling, storage and destination fees are included. Freight must be rechecked when booking.
What costs should I budget for beyond the vehicle?
Request a cost breakdown for optional equipment, inspection, export preparation, inland transport, freight, insurance, port handling and destination delivery. Have your local broker confirm applicable import duties, taxes, clearance and registration costs. Do not assume a vehicle or ocean-freight quotation includes every destination charge.
Who handles customs clearance and import documents?
The contract and agreed shipping terms should name the party responsible at each stage. We coordinate the supplier-side document request within the agreed service scope; your destination broker should confirm the required document list before ordering. It may include a commercial invoice, packing list, transport document and applicable origin or technical documents. Requirements vary by country and vehicle.
Can the truck be imported and registered in my country?
Check eligibility before paying a deposit. Ask your local import or registration adviser to review the exact chassis and complete-vehicle model, emissions, driving side, dimensions and intended use. A model approved or sold in China is not automatically approved for another market. Any required inspection or certification must be confirmed for your destination.
Is cargo insurance included, and what if damage occurs?
Check the agreed shipping terms and policy for who arranges insurance, the insured value, covered risks, exclusions and claim procedure. At receipt, record the vehicle condition and any damage with the carrier and notify the responsible parties promptly under the applicable claim requirements. Preserve photographs and delivery documents.
Handover, warranty & spare parts
What happens after the vehicle arrives?
Plan unloading, receiving inspection, local formalities and operator handover. Request the supplied manuals, maintenance schedule and any agreed training before putting the equipment into service. Confirm available document languages and the party providing technical support.
How does warranty and overseas service work?
Chassis, body and specialist equipment may have different warranty providers and terms. Ask for the duration, exclusions, claims process, labour and freight responsibilities, and available support in your location in writing. On-site service and response times are confirmed for each order rather than assumed worldwide.
Can you consolidate spare parts from different manufacturers?
Yes, send a combined list with vehicle model, chassis or equipment identification, part numbers, photographs and quantities. We coordinate compatibility checks and procurement across suppliers. Consolidated packing and shipment depend on availability, lead times and the agreed freight scope; similar-looking parts are not assumed interchangeable.
Should I order maintenance parts with the vehicle?
Ask for a model-specific initial spares list based on the supplied equipment, planned workload and maintenance schedule. Confirm quantities, part numbers, storage requirements, prices and whether parts travel with the truck or separately. This can also help plan later fleet replenishment.
Your enquiry
Has my enquiry been sent?
Online submission is currently unavailable. The form prepares a local brief to download or copy; it does not send your contact details to a supplier.
