Applications and route planning
Heavy recovery operators need to specify the vehicles they intend to recover before selecting an underlift and boom arrangement. This HOWO reference uses a four-axle chassis and a dedicated recovery body. Its role is different from a light flatbed transporter: axle access, recovery attachment points and towing geometry become central to the purchase brief.
Understanding the technical specification
The published HYS5440TQZZ6 announcement identifies the four-axle reference. A separate three-axle configuration table on the same webpage is excluded to avoid mixing builds. Vehicle gross mass does not establish lifting or towing capacity. Request the boom and underlift load charts, extension limits and the complete vehicle axle-load calculation.
Configuration and quotation checklist
List the typical casualty vehicles, axle heights, front overhangs and required recovery accessories. Ask the supplier to identify each fork, clamp, cable and control included in the package. A quotation should separately state lifting, pulling and towing ratings, with the operating conditions that apply to each.
Maintenance, inspection and handover
Arrange equipment-specific training, inspection records and a spare-parts package for the winches, hydraulic controls and towing attachments. Include a demonstration using an agreed representative load. Retain load charts and inspection documentation with the vehicle.
Ordering for your destination
Send your destination country, preferred chassis support network and required delivery location with the vehicle brief. Ask for a dated quotation that separates the chassis, specialist body, equipment, inspection, spare parts and freight. Confirm the deposit, production milestones and shipment documents in the contract. Transit time and import costs depend on the agreed route and destination; they are not fixed by this reference guide.
Reference scope
The figures describe the published reference, not every configuration. Final chassis, body equipment, permitted payload, destination requirements, delivery schedule and price are confirmed in a written quotation.
