Applications and route planning
Local roads, campuses and industrial access routes may require smaller winter-service vehicles than a full-size highway truck. The Foton pickup reference combines front snow-removal equipment with a rear spreader. Route gradients, surface type and the space available around entrances should guide the configuration discussion.
Understanding the technical specification
Snow-clearing width and spreading width describe separate attachments. A 1–2 m³ spreader option is a container-size range, not an approved payload statement. Material density and the mass of the front attachment affect axle loading. Obtain the selected attachment dimensions and vehicle weight distribution before deciding how much spreading material can be carried.
Configuration and quotation checklist
Describe the expected snow conditions, route width, slopes and preferred spreading material. Confirm the required front attachment, spreader metering system, corrosion protection and electrical connections. Ask for the operating limitations of the complete vehicle rather than relying on the four-wheel-drive designation alone.
Maintenance, inspection and handover
Request attachment wear parts, mounting inspection points and post-season cleaning instructions. Plan storage for removable equipment and confirm the required lifting or support arrangements. Review cold-weather starting and servicing with the chassis supplier.
Ordering for your destination
Send your destination country, preferred chassis support network and required delivery location with the vehicle brief. Ask for a dated quotation that separates the chassis, specialist body, equipment, inspection, spare parts and freight. Confirm the deposit, production milestones and shipment documents in the contract. Transit time and import costs depend on the agreed route and destination; they are not fixed by this reference guide.
Reference scope
The figures describe the published reference, not every configuration. Final chassis, body equipment, permitted payload, destination requirements, delivery schedule and price are confirmed in a written quotation.
