Applications and route planning
Ready-mix fleets need a delivery vehicle matched to the batch plant, route and placing site. This Foton-based reference is presented with a 10–12 m³ drum range. It is useful for comparing larger mixer layouts, but the purchase brief should start with the required concrete load per trip and the legal route limits.
Understanding the technical specification
Drum volume is not permission to transport that full volume of concrete. The published gross and curb masses must be reconciled with crew, fuel, water and concrete density. Request the actual rated mixing capacity and permitted payload for the selected drum and chassis. A geometric drum-size range cannot replace this calculation.
Configuration and quotation checklist
Describe batch-plant loading clearance, journey time, site gradients and the unloading arrangement. Ask for the hydraulic pump, motor and reducer models, drum dimensions and chute options. Keep the selected engine and emission specification explicit rather than treating the historical reference as a current stock vehicle.
Maintenance, inspection and handover
Discuss drum inspection, wash-water use and hydraulic servicing. Ask which seals, filters and drive components can be supplied with the vehicle. Acceptance should confirm drum operation, discharge equipment and the final weight documentation.
Ordering for your destination
Send your destination country, preferred chassis support network and required delivery location with the vehicle brief. Ask for a dated quotation that separates the chassis, specialist body, equipment, inspection, spare parts and freight. Confirm the deposit, production milestones and shipment documents in the contract. Transit time and import costs depend on the agreed route and destination; they are not fixed by this reference guide.
Reference scope
The figures describe the published reference, not every configuration. Final chassis, body equipment, permitted payload, destination requirements, delivery schedule and price are confirmed in a written quotation.
