Applications and route planning
Specialist fire-service projects may require a dedicated vehicle for ventilation and related support equipment. This SITRAK reference combines a large main fan, auxiliary fans, water equipment and storage. The purchasing team should define the operational concept and site constraints with its technical specialists before selecting the airflow package.
Understanding the technical specification
The manufacturer publishes maximum airflow figures for different fan combinations. Those figures are not a measure of smoke-removal performance at every incident or with every duct arrangement. Request the complete fan curves, measurement conditions and approved accessories. The 2,750 L water tank and 60 L/s pump rating describe the separate water system.
Configuration and quotation checklist
Provide the required ventilation functions, transport clearances, equipment list and any duct or hose interfaces. Ask the manufacturer to document fan positioning, power demand and the complete vehicle layout. Agree a demonstration and acceptance criteria appropriate to the purchasing authority’s procedures.
Maintenance, inspection and handover
Review inspection access for fans, guards, hydraulic equipment and the pump. Request the maintenance schedule and replacement-part list for the selected fan package. Training should follow the actual supplied equipment and the response organisation’s operating procedures.
Ordering for your destination
Send your destination country, preferred chassis support network and required delivery location with the vehicle brief. Ask for a dated quotation that separates the chassis, specialist body, equipment, inspection, spare parts and freight. Confirm the deposit, production milestones and shipment documents in the contract. Transit time and import costs depend on the agreed route and destination; they are not fixed by this reference guide.
Reference scope
The figures describe the published reference, not every configuration. Final chassis, body equipment, permitted payload, destination requirements, delivery schedule and price are confirmed in a written quotation.
